fascinating faces

i'm challenge host at sunday postcard art this week, on the theme of faces, a topic i find fascinating and delightful! 

this creation features faces from a kit by arthouse whimsy and other elements from designs by MANDN.

this fascinating face from arthouse whimsy gave me circus-y vibes so i added elements from retired dezinaworld and retired mischief circus to complete the scene.

i look forward to seeing what everyone else creates on this theme!

faces at tag tuesday

i'm the host for the latest two week challenge at tag tuesday: faces. participants are invited to create tags with faces -- human faces, animal faces, collage, stamped, digital. here are a few examples to get this started and i'll add more next week.

for sunday postcard art: distance. i was thinking about how often many people are in the same place, but each so far apart, not connecting, distant. this might not be the greatest ever representation of that, but here it is anyway.

in celebration of faces

it is my turn again to choose the theme for the tag tuesday blog and i have chosen "faces." over the next two weeks we welcome all tags featuring faces over at tag tuesday! here are a few to get you started, and i will share a couple more next week.

this tag is stamped with a face image by danielle mack, with 2 different background papers from gecko galz. i colored her lips with a sharpie pen.

this tag has background paper, sentiment and central female image all by gecko galz.

i did not want you to feel limited to human faces! this owl and background paper are also from gecko galz.

there's one week remaining to play along with the "faces" challenge at tag tuesday. here are a few more faces tags i made for this challenge.

faces, wings, gardens, flight. all good themes for springtime. here are two tags with plenty of all those things.

fabulous faces

it's my turn to choose the next two week tag tuesday challenge and i've chosen the theme of "faces." i own so many faces stamps that i could have made 30 or more tags (embarrassing but true)! in fact i did make several but will just share 3 today -- come back next week for the second installment!

early on in my stamping days i was obsessed with face stamps and i have many of them.  this challenge was a nice opportunity to play with 2 from my collection.

use your wings -- gecko galz inspiration

faces always fascinate.  and with wings you take flight!  two of the new gecko galz collage sheets this month are called "face to face" 1 and 2.  i used images from both of those collage sheets for these tags.

the background sheets on both tags are gecko galz also, the "merry and bright" paper pack.  the wings on both are from lunagirl and the sentiment on the tag below is from tim holtz.

the current theme at lunagirl moonbeams is "fascinating faces and i have another tag to share featuring a gorgeous vintage image face from lunagirl.

greetings friends.  at tag tuesday this week we are running "away with the fairies."  my first two tags on this post use some of the "fascinating faces" from the lunagirl shop and are also for the fascinating faces challenge at lunagirl moonbeams.

the faces and wings are from lunagirl and the rest of the items are from my stash.  the phrases were typed and printed on designer paper.
