for sunday postcard art: cups. and for take a word: bubbles. i was having fun and made two pieces with both prompts.
all images from the itKuPiLLi imagenarium "wonderland" kit.
love to all.
this blog is to chart my creative evolution with stamping, paper-crafting, mixed media and some other stuff i haven't figured out yet... on the theory that challenging myself to try new things and post them to the "world" will be good for me. and might also be good for others. my blog title is inspired by julia cameron's "the artist's way" and her admonition to fill the well.
for sunday postcard art: cups. and for take a word: bubbles. i was having fun and made two pieces with both prompts.

better late than never! there are a few days left for the "bit of steampunk" challenge at tag tuesday. given that steampunk is one of m favorite themes i would have posted sooner but i've had a busy past few weeks. so finally, here are two digital tags for the challenge.
both tags include elements from gecko galz, (vintage) dezinaworld, and from the fantastical steampunk collaboration at mischief circus.
i'm also linking to the take a word challenge for this week which is "lock and key," as my first tag features a key.
enjoy and love to all!
for take a word: new year 2021
with thanks to holliewood studios, itKuPiLLi and songbirdy, all images from mischief circus.
wishing everyone an exceptionally good year, and love to all.
the prompt for take a word is "wall." here is mine.
love to all.
images primarily from holliewood studios "wonderment" with some touches from retired miles beyond the moon and crashing waves from itKuPiLLi fantastical steampunk.
love to all.
for take a word: frame it!
this one really makes me smile. the background is from gecko galz chocolate box papers and all the rest is mischief circus artists, mostly from tumblefish studios which is now a vintage (retired) line of digital images.
you are art!
love to all.
for take a word: teddy bear
it feels nice to think of life this sweet and simple.
with images from mischief circus artists.
love to all.
for take a word this week we are invited to create with asia in mind. this made me think of my childhood growing up in san francsico, california, visiting the japanese tea garden at golden gate park. this creation is a poor homage to those days but it was always so much fun exploring the pagodas, koi ponds, the amazing landscaping and always ending the excursion having japanese tea and treats at the tea house.
images here are from pixabay, itKuPiLLi imagenarium and (retired) miles beyond the moon.
enjoy; love to all.
the theme this week at take a word is "windmills." i recently learned that the book Don Quixote is the fiction novel that has sold the most copies in the US! so that inspired this creation.
