it is week two of the latest challenge at tag tuesday,  i'm hosting this one and the theme is "mostly monochrome."

today i'm posting two more tags on this theme.

serenity in the trees

for the new tag tuesday challenge -- trees -- hosted by lovely DT member Pinky, i've done some rubber stamping.

stamp credits: sun is by rubber stampede; trees by stampscapes; "create peace" stamp by good stamps.

during difficult times times i always find a walk amongst the trees to be very replenishing. so i tried to create that feeling on this tag. enjoy; and play along if you can!

fabulous faces

it's my turn to choose the next two week tag tuesday challenge and i've chosen the theme of "faces." i own so many faces stamps that i could have made 30 or more tags (embarrassing but true)! in fact i did make several but will just share 3 today -- come back next week for the second installment!

stamp by technique junkies; sentiment is from tim holtz ideology; washi tape from pipsticks and the rest are items from my stash.

just so you know that all the faces do not have to be human! this lovely cat face is from lost coast designs and the sentiment is from leavenworth jackson stamps. background paper is gecko galz and the rest are stash items.

i hope you will have fun with this theme, there are so many ways to play with faces!

favourite stamp

last week a new two week challenge opened up at tag tuesday -- use your favourite stamp, theme selected by DT member joan. well, i have hundreds of stamps and am hard pressed to identify a favourite. i have always liked the simplicity of this pear stamp by rubber stampede.

the background paper is from the gecko galz curiosity shop digital craft kit and i stamped the pear on a dictionary page after spritzing it with water color inks. there's a little washi tape and enamel dots on here too.

faces, lovely faces

both are actual "moos" (approx 1.1 x 2.8 inches in size)

early on in my stamping days i was obsessed with face stamps and i have many of them.  this challenge was a nice opportunity to play with 2 from my collection.

mini beasts

"mini beasts" is our prompt at tag tuesday this week.  leaving me wondering -- is this an invitation to create something involving tiny monsters or...?  i have this wonderful stamp of a frog from rubber stampede and in the end i opted to create something with this particular "mini beast."

i created the background with watercolor inks spritzed on a stencil.  then i stamped the frog multiple times.  so it is a simple tag, but i like it!

gentle queen

continuing with my queen tag obsession...
this lovely queen is from rubber stampede and as with all the other members of the royal court the crown is by pink paislee.

this is another favorite face stamp.  i also really like the different effects from stamping on patterned paper.  i kept this one simple with designer paper covered tag base, some washi tapes behind the face and a flower.
