i love that this week's sunday postcard art theme is espresso because it reminded me of a vintage rucola designs digital kit (from the late mischief circus) that is all about coffee! so i had fun getting in as many of the images as i could! i had to make two though...

i love the java jive and it loves me! "cappuccino" is the theme today for the "index card a day" challenge sponsored by daisy yellow art. 

the coffee background paper and mug in the corner are from retired stitchy bear digital images artists. the woman and butterfly are from gecko galz and the sun from itKuPiLLi.

who loves coffee?

for the next two weeks the challenge theme at tag tuesday is "beverages." you're invited to make a tag with any kind of beverage. our fearless design team leader Valerie LOVES coffee so much that she often posts photos of her coffee drinks along with her beautiful art creations. so my tag is dedicated to her!

the woman and cup images are from lunagirl; the background paper and sentiment came from one of the artists at stitchy bear digital outlet (now closed). i also have some tissue tape, a paper flower, enamel dot, ribbon and distress ink to finish the piece. 

i also love coffee, especially the smell of it!

for moo mania and more on the theme of tea or coffee: for this week i made a digital moo.  

my creation was still made at the moo size of 1.1 x 2.8 inches but was created digitally with images from dezinaworld.

the smell of freshly ground heaven...

last week at tag tuesday the prompt was cups and cutlery and i went with a tea party theme.  this week the prompt is coffee and tea. well, i pretty much went with just the coffee...

because it really does smell like freshly ground heaven!  when i was growing up a coffee pot was ALWAYS on.  so it is a smell i associate with homey things.
