whimsical circus no 3

time for another creation for his month's customer challenge at the gecko galz blog, "whimsical circus."  as always, to enter a gecko galz challenge you need only use one gecko galz image. there are freebies on the blog each day and great deals on the etsy shop as well.

this week's challenge at digital whisper is "circus" so linking to that as well!

images from gecko galz (the woman is one of the freebies provided on the blog...) and a little bit of retired mischief circus.

here are two more pieces, since when it comes to circus themes i can't stop!

unexpected magic

this month's customer challenge at the gecko galz blog is "whimsical circus."  as always, to enter a gecko galz challenge you need only use one gecko galz image. there are freebies on the blog each day and great deals on the etsy shop as well.

the female clown image was a freebie on the blog, the background paper and other circus images are from other gecko galz kits. the words and butterfly come from retired mischief circus.

circus themes are always a lot of fun; i hope you'll play long.

love to all.

geometry

geometry, according to wikipedia, is a branch of mathematics concerned with properties of space, such as the distance, shape, size, and relative position of figures. it is one of the oldest branches of mathematics. in school, i was pretty good at geometry (and horrible at algebra which apparently is common -- to be good at one and awful at the other). i love shapes and points, distances, and thus  was delighted to be able to select geometry as a theme for hosting sunday postcard art this week. i had so much fun playing with shapes and such, that i made 4 creations!

you all know i can never resist making some sort of a circus scene!

bees are masters at geometry!

stripe-a-palooza

i'm the lucky challenge host at sunday postcard art this week on the theme of STRIPES! do whatever strikes your fancy with stripes on a 4x6 inch canvas -- digital, stamped, collaged, whatever you like. here's what i did:

circus time

our sunday postcard art theme this week is "circus." honestly i could make circus scenes all day. but i stopped at three...

images for the 1st two come from retired mischief circus kits (miles beyond the moon songbirdy, itKuPiLLi, tumblefish studio) and the third is mostly retired dezinaworld with a few mischief circus bits.

love to all.

what we do for love

for sunday postcard art: keep the balance.  while it is true there are so many things one can do with the theme "balance" the 1st thing that came to my mind was tightrope so that's where i went....

images thanks to pixabay, gecko galz, and retired mischief circus (miles beyond the moon).

love to all.

freaky clowns

the latest dark imagination theme at kym's my soul's dark imagination is freaky circus clowns. kym shared a bunch of clown freebies for us to play with and i chose two from her batch for my creations.

in addition to kym's clown images i used retired mischief circus kits from holliewood studios and miles beyond the moon.

enjoy, and love to all.

sweet memory

our challenge for our midweek muse is to use a quote. i'd been eager to use a new kit from miles beyond the moon, cirque de la lune. i found a nice circus quote and i was good to go.

there are some other miles beyond the moon images as well as some retired holliewood studios.

enjoy; love to all.

for the gecko galz challenge of the day: "the big top"

keep safe and strong; love to all.
