for my soul's dark imagination: peculiar children
what a delight to play on the idea of the school for peculiar children!
images and elements from craft and cherish, gecko galz, and retired mischief circus.
love to all.
this blog is to chart my creative evolution with stamping, paper-crafting, mixed media and some other stuff i haven't figured out yet... on the theory that challenging myself to try new things and post them to the "world" will be good for me. and might also be good for others. my blog title is inspired by julia cameron's "the artist's way" and her admonition to fill the well.

at this time of year most children are returning to school after summer break, if they have not already! i'm hosting the school days challenge at tag tuesday and am indulging my nostalgic feelings about returning to school! while i confess i am perfectly happy not having a little one to get ready for school any more, i very much enjoyed it when my own child was school aged.
here are some tags i made to get this started!
i have images here from gecko galz, tim holtz, arthouse whimsy, retired mischief circus, and random bits from my stash. i'll share a couple more tags next week as a reminder to play along! i hope you'll join this theme.
love to all.
this is week two of our latest challenge at tag tuesday as hosted by our lovely DT sister Pinky: book pages. use book pages on your tag to meet this challenge.
for this tag i started with a book page i had in my stash, spritzed it with water color inks, added a clock and dominoes from a sticker set, and featured some little girls from a tim holtz paper doll set. i have a butterfly brad from eyelet outlet as well.
one week left to play!
love to all.
