spring chickens in their easter bonnets!

it is spring and easter and there are chickens about!  the new challenge at lunagirl moonbeams is "spring chickens."  link up a creation with chickens, eggs, spring babies, etc for the chance of shopping credit at the lunagirl store.  i have a tag here from the "spring chickens" collage sheet at lunagirl.

there are background papers here from gecko galz, itKuPiLLi, and washi tape, flowers and brads (did you catch that little bunny in the corner?), ribbon, etc.  the stamp is by savvy stamps.  this one makes me grin.

fashion at tag-along

it has been awhile but i am playing with the tag along challenge blog today; the challenge prompt is "fashion."

I think this lady is pretty fashionable! the image and words are from a "lady in red" collage sheet by lunagirl.  the additional script and the background paper are also from lunagirl.  the rest is from my stash.

vintage tag

she is remembering with wistful happy thoughts, days spent in the flower garden amid the sweet chirps of swooping, circling birds and special times with dear friends. 

this tag is for two challenges. each month at fripperies and butterflies, blog host leanne provides a free collage sheet and we are challenged to create using that sheet and whatever theme she has chosen.  for august it is a french postcard challenge at fripperies and butterflies -- you don't have to make a postcard but you do have to use images from the free french postcards collage sheet she provided.  the woman and the stamps on this tag are from that sheet. the background paper is from itkupilli and the rest are stash items. the winner of this challenge will get a shopping spree at gecko galz.

the second challenge i'm entering is the vintage-inspired tag challenge at tag-along challenges. it is their one year anniversary at that challenge blog.  the challenge sponsor for that tag is lunagirl and the winner will get goodies from lunagirl.

summer holidays and such

our theme this week at tag tuesday is summer holiday.  as many know who stop by here much, my idea of a wonderful summer holiday is definitely time at the beach.  so that is the focus of my tag.

the vintage bathing beauty, the carte postale and the lovely sea-leafy background paper are all from gecko galz. there is some vellum script border from alphastamps.  the wings on my bathing beauty are from lunagirl. i finished the piece with some distressing, some fun stickers and ribbon.

sweet child tag

children and music make a lovely combination.  i decided to take a few moment to join the latest challenge at tag along challenges; the theme there this past week is "children."  i used a vintage child image as well as some vintage sheet music from lunagirl.

i added other bits to complete the theme.  enjoy.

steampunk witchery

this witch is summoning all things steampunk!  i've made another DT creation for the lunagirl moonbeams "witchery" challenge which i am also entering into the tag along challenge "steampunk hallow e'en" challenge.  while i'm at it i'm linking to the belli challenge "hallow e'en" theme.

the summoning witch, the butterfly and the hot air balloon are all from collage sheets by lunagirl. there is background paper from 7 gypsies, a torn witch's stew recipe label from k & company.  the remaining steampunk images are from dover publications and the cog brad is from alphastamps. oh, the spiders are from random sticker sheets i had.

autumn challenges galore!

here is a DT piece for the current "autumn" themed challenge at lunagirl moonbeams.  there is one more week to enter -- challenge closes october 6.
i am also happy to link this creation to two more challenges:

the background on the tag itself has two different technique junkies techniques going on but i only remember the name of one of theme -- "depth of field."  the stamps here -- the flowers and the the "je t'aime" are from the floriculture sheet at rogue redhead designs. there is a bright orange flower and some tissue tape included here. and of course the lovely vintage image is from lunagirl -- the "mucha 1" collage sheet.  as to the lunagirl autumn challenge a randomly selected winner will get to shop at lunagirl.
