this july at the gecko galz customer challenge blog the challenge new theme is "enjoy the journey." create on this theme using gecko galz products for the chance to win prizes from the gecko galz store.  i have an ATC to share today.

supplies: ATC base; gecko galz "the drawing board" collage sheet; gecko galz "postcards from abroad" collage sheet; gecko galz "la boheme" digital kit; lace; washi tape; black lace; paper flower; distress ink.

instructions: i covered the ATC base with a designer paper from the "la boheme" kit and then with a torn piece from the postcards from abroad collage sheet and distressed the edges.  after fussy cutting the girl from "the drawing board" collage sheet i glued her on, covered the corner with washi tape, taped on some lace at bottom and added the paper flower.

more retro summer

there are only a couple more days to link up to the june challenge at the gecko galz customer challenge blog; the challenge theme is "retro summer." create on this theme using gecko galz products for the chance to win prizes from the gecko galz store.  here are a couple more goodies for you.

supplies: gecko galz gidget mini paper pack; gecko galz "summer sweeties" collage sheet; bingo and dart board from gecko galz "game time" collage sheet; gecko galz "charming words" collage sheet; domino letter stickers, cardstock, distress ink, flower and enamel dot from my stash.

instructions: i covered the cardstock with gidget paper and distressed the edges. i fussy cut the woman, bingo card, dartboard and word from their respective collage sheets and adhered them to the card stock.  the domino stickers and flower with enamels dot are the finishing touches.

supplies: gecko galz la isla bonita paper pack; gecko galz "aloha" collage sheet; gecko galz "darling dragonflies" collage sheet; gecko galz "charming words" collage sheet; ATC base; distress ink; shell die cut.

instructions: i covered the ATC base with the paper and distressed the edges.  i fussy cut the woman, word and dragonfly and arranged them on the ATC base and added the shell die cut last.

a night at the movies

at tag tuesday the current challenge is "a night at the movies" hosted by DT member Joan.  here is my tag:

i used an image of the 1920s movie star mary pickford from the "mary pickford" collage sheet by gecko galz.  the words are from the "charming words" collage sheet also by gecko galz.  the stars on the tag are from tissue paper i had from a gift.  it worked nicely as a base for the tag.

there's a little more than a week remaining to play on this theme at tag tuesday.

instructions: i covered the card stock tag base in paper from the gidget paper pack and distressed the edges. i added the image from the aloha sheet, which i'd fussy cut.  i added the shell, letters and flowers to finish.
