wheels

for the moo mania and more "wheels" challenge:

as usual i have made an actual moo (approximately 1.1 by 2.8 inches). motorcycle stamp by stamp happy, route 66 and postal mark stamps by inkadinkado.  background is a bit of city map of washington DC.

ride hard!
love to all.

i made a "moostake"

i thought the current theme at moo mania and more challenge blog was "music" so i made a quick "moo" (approx. 1.1 by 2.8 inches) utilizing images by lunagirl.

this lovely lady and her violin made a nice choice for the theme. however, "music" was the last theme.  the current theme is water. oops.  so i started again.  for this second moo it is all rubber stamping.

i glued a piece of map to the cardboard moo base i'd cut out, using a section of the pacific ocean including the area around polynesia. the mermaid and wave stamps are by meer image and the bubble stamp is by g-rated stamps.

i'm linking these to the pink saturday blog in honor of its 8th birthday!

that should do it.  enjoy; love to all.

up in the air

in her moon-clock-hot-air-balloon this beauty has taken flight and is floating dreamily up in the air on wishes for sweetness, peace and joy.  the vintage image beauty and the background maps and script are all from gecko galz.  the wing on the beauty is from lunagirl.  i've also used magic mesh, washi tape and a butterfly from my stash.

i'm entering this to two challenges:
"up in the air" at the gecko galz facebook/yahoo groups papercrafting group; and
"take flight" the latest readers's art quest at unruly paper arts.

wishing you floaty dreams and goodness; love to all.

vintage seashore and bathing beauties #3

here is one more 4x6 postcard celebrating the beach and the gorgeous vintage images of lunagirl moonbeams! you have a week remaining to link up your own beachy creation for a chance to win shopping credit at the lunagirl store.

my postcard base is another piece of map.  there is a seashore scene at the base from alphastamps and the four beauties are from lunagirl.  i threw in some little fish and crustacean stickers for fun.

enjoy; love to all.

africa tag

our latest tag tuesday prompt is "africa."

i covered my tag base with part of the africa portion of a world map. i stamped my gorgeous african girl stamp (stamp company unknown, sadly) on vellum and affixed it to the tag base.  i added a few natural elements to complete the tag.

happy rest of your week and love to all.

maps charts and diagrams

maps charts and diagrams is the prompt for this week at tag tuesday and the prompt gave me a steampunk feeling so that's what i went with.

the ancient map piece and "passport" are torn pieces from an old address book and a brochure.  the girl and luggage (and background DP) are from lunagirl.  the steampunk brad is from alphastamps (they have a lot of awesome brads).  at the bottom the fancy letters spell "GO."

i'm linking up to the anything goes challenge at crafting by designs.

by the way, i think maps are wonderful.
have a great week.
love to all.
