i love you summer! (prize alert...)

i'm hosting the new two week challenge at tag tuesday. because i am so grateful summer has come to my hemisphere i've chosen the theme "here comes the sun!" i live in the pacific northwest USA where it can stay pretty grey for many months so the arrival of sunshine feels extra wonderful.

wings on tags

at tag tuesday this week DT member sandie has offered up "wings" as our theme for the next two weeks. you should check out her stunning tags!

here is something with some mashed up bits from an old tumblefish studios (retired) collage sheet, some washi and not much else! i also used a tag base from a julie nutting tag pad, it has a really cool background on it already.

next week if all goes well i'll have a stamped creation to share!

paper doll play

for the tag tuesday "paper doll" prompt: i used julie nutting prima doll "keira" and patterned papers by gecko galz for 2 of the dresses and paper by heather hudson for the heart dress.

i stamped the doll on a cardboard base, cut it out and outlined in black ink.  i then stamped just the dress several times and cut it out.  so much cutting!  but fun to make a paper doll.
