the little witching hour

for the month of october the challenge at lunagirl moonbeams has been "gothic."  just a few days remaining to link up your creation for the chance of shopping credit at the lunagirl store.  while this ATC is arguably not so gothic, it is certainly seasonal...

the cute little vintage witch is from the "witching hour" collage sheet and her wings are from the "gothic wings" collage sheet. the moon is from "harvest moon" and the background is from the "gothic backgrounds -red" collage sheet, all by lunagirl.  i have a little bit black vine ribbon and a silvery flower (a brad) as accents on this ATC.

gothic, week 2

during the dark and mysterious month of October our challenge at lunagirl moonbeams is "gothic." my inspiration piece for you this week is another ATC featuring images from lunagirl collage sheets.

images are from the "gothic backgrounds," "edwardian gothic," "medieval gothic," and "gothic wings" collage sheets.  i also used some silver magic mesh, a fleur de lis and a clock brad.

gothic october

at lunagirl moonbeams our new month-long challenge theme is "gothic."  you have a full month to link up your creations on the gothic theme for the chance to win a prize of shopping credit at the lunagirl store.  i'm working with ATCs for this theme.

the background, vintage lady, crown and wings are all from lunagirl collage sheets -- "gothic backgrounds," "medieval gothic," "edwardian gothic," and "gothic wings."  the moon is from the "harvest moon" collage sheet.  beyond collaging these elements i added distressing. lace and enamel dots.

although this ATC does not have a very spooky edge, this is the month for spooky things and so this theme should hopefully spark some nice creativity!  i hope you will play along.

just put another bird on it!

okay, just a few days left to join us at lunagirl moonbeams where we are challenging everyone to "put a bird on it,"  in other words, add some birds to your art!  the randomly chosen winner will get some shopping $$ for the lunagirl store.  for this last bit of  DT inspiration i've got a card with a bit of a gothic feel to it.

the goddess is from the lunagirl "goddess" collage sheet and the owl is from the "owls" collage sheet. the background papers and borders are from moonlight journey.

vintage gothic with flowers

here is an ATC to hopefully inspire you to enter two challenges for which i am a design team member:
1) "a bouquet of flowers" at the cheerful stamp pad -- use multiple flowers as your central image, challenge sponsor is lunagirl -- one week left to enter; and
2) "vintage gothic," a new two week challenge at lunagirl moonbeams challenge blog -- make it vintage and make it gothic.

my ATC is covered in designer paper and vintage parisian tissue paper. the girl with the fan is from the lunagirl vintage gothic collage sheet.  the bouquet of flowers is also a lunagirl image.
