enter the rabbit, exit the tiger

this week's challenge at sunday postcard art, in honor of the upcoming lunar new year, is "year of the rabbit." we were also asked what is our animal year in the lunar zodiac? well i was year of the tiger which is about to end. here are my two pieces, entering the rabbit, exiting the tiger! 

background paper is from gecko galz (namaste paper pack), firecrackers are from pixabay, the rabbit is from holliewood studios (retired), and the confetti embellishments are from tumblefish studios (retired).

background and tiger are retired holliewood studios, fireworks and "happy new year" from pixabay, rabbit from itKuPiLLi, additional light effects from retired miles beyond the moon.

wonderland on an index card

for today's creation in the "index card a day" challenge sponsored by daisy yellow art, i've chosen to visit wonderland and link to the customer challenge at gecko galz: "welcome to wonderland."

sir rabbit

the latest two week challenge at tag tuesday, thanks to DT member Wilma is "hares and rabbits," a wonderful theme for those of us eagerly awaiting spring!

the fancy rabbit is from a gecko galz stamp set and was printed on gecko galz paper then printed out. the rest of the items are a variety of goodies from my art cabinet!
