exploring "white space"

at three muses the new challenge is "white space." the first time i saw a challenge like that i thought i had to actually leave white space in the creation. (if you want a chuckle about that see this post.)

since then i learned it is really more like creating "empty" space to create balance in the art piece. i'm still exploring this and hoping to get it right; i am totally at kindergarten level on this subject. here are some things i tried:
