time for a new two week challenge at lunagirl moonbeams -- using digital backgrounds. i used a "seed plants" background sheet from lunagirl and decided to make it the basis for a canvas.
i started with a 4 x 4 canvas, covered it in flowery design paper (which you really cannot see here) and then used a torn piece from the seed catalog. all is distressed with distress inks. looking at the seeds and flowers on the catalog caused some garden fairies to show up. although garden fairies was the theme 2 challenges ago at lunagirl they are apparently still flitting about. the little girls are from the lunagirl african american vintage CD and the wings are from the "fly away hone" collage sheet. i have some other stash goodies too.
choose a background you love and consider joining the challenge! click HERE for all challenge details including a special sale offer for digital background sheets at lunagirl!
love to all.
this blog is to chart my creative evolution with stamping, paper-crafting, mixed media and some other stuff i haven't figured out yet... on the theory that challenging myself to try new things and post them to the "world" will be good for me. and might also be good for others. my blog title is inspired by julia cameron's "the artist's way" and her admonition to fill the well.

Wonderful canvas, Michelle! Love the sweet images! I don't do digi art, but enjoy it! Have so many stamps, I can't justify not using them!
I like how you did the layered background
