for the "love" challenge at moo mania and more.  as usual i've made a traditional "moo" (approx. 1.1 x 2.8 inches):

background paper from my artistic adventures "bitty hearts" and vintage image from lunagirl.  there is some washi tape, distress inks and a sentiment from my stash as well.

celebrating the great gatsby

the new two week theme at lunagirl moonbeams blog is "the great gatsby."  as i prepared my first DT piece i reflected that i neither read the book in high school or college nor have i seen the latest movie -- but i plan to!  i do know that there is more than a fair bit of elegance and excess involved in the story.  i focused my attention on the elegance part.  the main image is from the lunagirl "vintage lovers" CD.  i've layered it on card stock covered with a piece of a music ( a gavotte if you must know) and a doily.  the stamp is by "marks of distinction." and a few additional embellies.
