the theme today for the "index card a day" challenge sponsored by daisy yellow art is "mustard yellow." i attempted to create the color i wanted using acrylic paint colors raw sienna and hansa yellow. i should have used more of the yellow. i swirled with my paintbrush a bit for more texture.
the rest is rubber stamping with stamps from hero arts (sun), 100 proof press (quote) and studios blackbird (dots).
enjoy; love to all.
this blog is to chart my creative evolution with stamping, paper-crafting, mixed media and some other stuff i haven't figured out yet... on the theory that challenging myself to try new things and post them to the "world" will be good for me. and might also be good for others. my blog title is inspired by julia cameron's "the artist's way" and her admonition to fill the well.

this being human is a guest house
for three muses challenge: "illustrate a quote" (or perhaps a whole poem?)
this is possibly my favorite poem, by rumi. images from itKuPiLLi, holliewood studios and tumblefish studios, all at mischief circus.
and another by rumi that i also love.
images from miles beyond the moon at mischief circus, open clip art and with wild abandon.
love to all.
