this week's sunday postcard art theme of "tiger" led to this piece inspired by one of my very favorite poems, "the tyger" by william blake.

this blog is to chart my creative evolution with stamping, paper-crafting, mixed media and some other stuff i haven't figured out yet... on the theory that challenging myself to try new things and post them to the "world" will be good for me. and might also be good for others. my blog title is inspired by julia cameron's "the artist's way" and her admonition to fill the well.

for our midweek muse: soldier. i have numerous family members who have served in the military -- army, navy, and air force. this soldier in my card is from an african-american images set by lunagirl, and i've used an excerpt from a poem called "the Negro Soldiers" by Roscoe Jamison, written in 1922.
background papers are from gecko galz and the other images (eagle and flag) came from pixabay. may all who serve be honored and may peace prevail on earth.
love to all.
