in honor of veterans

for our midweek muse: soldier. i have numerous family members who have served in the military -- army, navy, and air force. this soldier in my card is from an african-american images set by lunagirl, and i've used an excerpt from a poem called "the Negro Soldiers" by Roscoe Jamison, written in 1922.

background papers are from gecko galz and the other images (eagle and flag) came from pixabay. may all who serve be honored and may peace prevail on earth.

love to all.

This is beautiful and very touching. It's exactly the spirit of soldiers going to war, and unfortunately many don't return. They are willing to risk, and maybe give, their lives for the rest of, for our freedom. Very haunting creation.
