may peace reign supreme

for the three muses: hats/crowns; and more importantly, for the cause of peace in ukraine.

background paper is by jami watkins, "sunflowers for peace." the sunflower behind her head is from little things to cherish, "support ukraine," and remaining items are from retired mischief circus kits -- woman and crown by holliewood studios and words from tumblefish studios.

love to all, and peace on earth.

create peace

we're almost halfway through the latest two week challenge at tag tuesday: thoughtfully chosen by DT member wilma, the theme is "peace."  i hope you will check out her message and her samples because it is all beautiful and inspiring.  here is a tag by me:

the "create peace" stamp (a picasso piece!) is by good stamps stamp goods.  the moon face is tin can mail sold by inkadinakado and the remaining stamps are all from the rubber moon "stampstracts" line.  background papers from the gecko galz la boheme digital kit.

love to all and may peace prevail on earth.

may there be peace on earth

my deepest wish for all of us is peace on earth.
my tag today expresses this wish and is also a part of the december tags of christmas at gecko galz.

productsbackground designer paper by my mind's eye; "o holy night" collage sheet by gecko galz; foliage and border from anna griffin christmas card kitpeace on earth stamp by creatiate stamps; angel and star sticker from my stash.

instructions: starting with a cardboard base, i cut the size and shape of tag i wanted and covered it with the designer paper, distressing the edges with ink.  i stamped my sentiment, cut it out and set it aside.  i had several elements i wanted to include on this tag so i tried several ways of arranging them before i started gluing them down.  once i settled on the design i glued all other elements down with a glue stick.

it is week two for the cheerful stamp pad  "white as snow challenge. our challenge sponsor is classy cards n such. and the challenge task is to work with the color white.

i guess i am still stuck on the "peace" theme.  i've used this hero arts stamp three times in a sort of a warhol style a la the tutorial from technique junkies.

i hope you will join in the challenge!
