the sunday postcard art theme this week is "down on the farm." i didn't think i really had anything to work with for this theme. but i searched through my many digital images and created 2 different scenes. and then realized i had created them at 12x12 and not 6x4. oops. i modified them though, see what you think. one of the full sizes is here for reference the other one i forgot to save the original.

 i'm a little late joining in but there is still one week left to play along with the tag tuesday "down on the farm" theme, hosted by our dear DT member (and fearless leader!) valerie.

about my little sentiment "simplify life," (words from tim holtz) i know it is easy for city folks like me to think farm life is simple though really i know better. it is incredibly hard work running a farm and i am so grateful to farmers, especially small family farmers for what they do to feed the rest of us.
