my son has an early december birthday and i made this card for him this year but am just now getting the chance to share.
the vintage man image is from lunagirl african american CD; the background paper is by gecko galz portabella road paper pack, and the remainder of images are from the fantastical steampunk kit by itkuPiLLi. except the frame which is from the cryztalrain artistry ballet kit. this was created digitally in photoshop.
linking to "celebrations" at the take a word challenge this week.
love to all.
this blog is to chart my creative evolution with stamping, paper-crafting, mixed media and some other stuff i haven't figured out yet... on the theory that challenging myself to try new things and post them to the "world" will be good for me. and might also be good for others. my blog title is inspired by julia cameron's "the artist's way" and her admonition to fill the well.

Beautiful piece, I love the placement of all the digital graphics. Happy Birthday to your son, this is a masculine card, for sure. I'll bet he loved it. And Happy New Year!
It is a wonderful card, you son would have loved receiving this card.
Yvonne xx
