break out your bear images for the "b is for bear" challenge at the cheerful stamp pad. our challenge sponsor is stitchy bear stamps; they provided some cute digital images for the DT to work with and they will provide a prize to the randomly selected entrant to the challenge! i made a card with one of the images from dusty bear, suitable for valentine's day...
i colored the digital image with pencils and outlined with an ink pen. i used a variety of patterned papers for the background and punched hearts out of the same designer papers. i also added some borders to decorate the corners. i hope you'll make something featuring a bear and then join the challenge!
i'm linking this up to crafty hazelnut's patterned paper challenge which requires that your creation be covered with patterned papers which i have definitely done here!
love to all.
this blog is to chart my creative evolution with stamping, paper-crafting, mixed media and some other stuff i haven't figured out yet... on the theory that challenging myself to try new things and post them to the "world" will be good for me. and might also be good for others. my blog title is inspired by julia cameron's "the artist's way" and her admonition to fill the well.
