for the new two week "color inspired" challenge at the cheerful stamp pad we are focusing on black and white. our challenge sponsor is bugaboo stamps. for my DT creation i used an elephant silhouette digital stamp from bugaboo.
i loved the patterning in the elephant which made it an ideal centerpiece for the black and white challenge. i used some complementary designer paper which is actually in dark grey and white placed on black card stock and finished it with the vintage monogram letter "E." The end result feels like a sort of sophisticated children's alphabet card.
this is a new challenge today so you have two weeks to join in; i hope you will. the randomly selected winner will get a shopping treat from sponsor bugaboo.
happy week; love to all.
this blog is to chart my creative evolution with stamping, paper-crafting, mixed media and some other stuff i haven't figured out yet... on the theory that challenging myself to try new things and post them to the "world" will be good for me. and might also be good for others. my blog title is inspired by julia cameron's "the artist's way" and her admonition to fill the well.

This looks really effective Michele!
Elephants are one of my favorite animals and i love the paisley print of this image combined with the chevrons Michele. I am going to feature this on our February Community Update over at Unruly this month too! TFS in our Yahoo Group.
