today a friend of mine, a breast cancer survivor, is having breast reconstruction surgery. i sent her this card with my good wishes. i used a vintage image of venus in her full frontal glory, if you will, using the pinks associated with breast cancer.
the venus vintage image is from the lunagirl "mighty aphrodite" collage sheet and the background paper was also created by karen at lunagirl. i added ribbon and a punched heart.
i am also reminding you that the two week challenge theme at lunagirl moonbeams is "goddess" so i hope you'll be inspired to link up a creation.
love to all.
this blog is to chart my creative evolution with stamping, paper-crafting, mixed media and some other stuff i haven't figured out yet... on the theory that challenging myself to try new things and post them to the "world" will be good for me. and might also be good for others. my blog title is inspired by julia cameron's "the artist's way" and her admonition to fill the well.
