the prompt this week at sunday postcard art is international women's day. when i was thinking about what to do on this theme i thought of a young woman who, for me, is truly representative of the power of women on an international scale. it is Malala Yousafzi. a young Pakistani advocate for girls' education. as a child, Malala was shot in the head for her activism, and was nearly killed. at age 17 she was the youngest Nobel Prize Laureate in history. Malala continues to work for education for all girls. she is amazing.
