mostly monochrome, part 1

it is my turn to pick the challenge theme for tag tuesday for the next two weeks and i've chosen "mostly monochrome." what does that mean?

mon·o·chrome
/ˈmänəˌkrōm/
noun
noun: monochrome; plural noun: monochromes
  1. a photograph or picture developed or executed in black and white or in varying tones of only one color.
    • representation or reproduction in black and white or in varying tones of only one color.
adjective
adjective: monochrome
  1. (of a photograph or picture, or a television screen) consisting of or displaying images in black and white or in varying tones of only one color.

as i invite you to create a tag using primarily varying tones of one color (or black and white), here are a few tags to share today. i'll be back in a week to prompt you with more mostly monochromatic tags for the final week of the challenge.

perhaps because it is finally spring in my hemisphere, these are mostly nature-themed as well so i am also linking these tags to the "walk with nature" customer challenge at gecko galz -- my background papers, words, and central images are all from gecko galz.

love to all.
