welcome to alice's tea party!

this april our customer challenge theme at gecko galz is "alice's tea party" which gives you the chance to create pieces inspired by alice's adventures in wonderland.  i'm starting this month off with a 4x6 postcard and a tag.

"tea party with alice"

supplies:  4x6 cardboard postcard base; gecko galz "ever after" paper pack; gecko galz "wonderland" collage sheet; borders, stickers and inks from my stash.

instructions: this postcard was simply done.  my goal was to create my own little scene of alice.  so i started by covering the postcard base with the "glass slipper" paper from the "ever after" paper pack and then ran some brown ink around the borders with a pro marker. i added a brown border about an inch up form the bottom.  next i fussy cut several elements from the "wonderland" collage sheet and decided how to arrange them, and adhered them with glue stick.  i added a little butterfly sticker at the end.

supplies:  tag base; gecko galz mad tea party digital paper pack; gecko galz "ask alice" collage sheet; gecko galz "tea time" collage sheet; washi tape, die cut, butterfly sticker distress ink from my stash.


instructions: after adhering a sheet from the mad tea party paper pack to my tag base i distressed the edges.  i fussy cut images from the "ask alice" and "tea time" collage sheets and glued them to the base.  the last step was adding the "remember" die cut, washi tape and butterfly sticker.
